Statement Re St. Tiarnach’s Quarter Regeneration Project:
Earlier today, a vision of the St. Tiarnach’s Quarter Regeneration project was presented to an initial meeting that involved a number of key stakeholders including, Heather Humphreys – Minister for Social Protection and Minister for Rural and Community Development, Matt Carthy Sinn Féin TD for the Cavan-Monaghan, Senator Robbie Gallagher, Senator in Cavan-Monaghan, Clones GAA, Monaghan GAA, Ulster GAA and representative from Monaghan County Council.
Following the meeting there was meaningful engagement and commitment to establish a Steering Work Group, that will include representation from local and regional stakeholders to oversee and be responsible for developing and progressing to deliver the community’s vision of St. Tiarnach’s Quarter Regeneration Project.
